Introduction to Randonèe Skiing in Romsdalen

This is the trip you choose to get a practical introduction to the popular activity "Randonèe", summit skiing!

The route we choose will depend on that day's snow conditions, either way, the trip will last about 5 hrs starting and ending at Tindesenter at Åndalsnes. Surrounded by the Romsdalsfjella and a view towards Romsdalsfjorden, this will be a hiking experience in spectacular surroundings.

Pace and steepness will be adjusted to the group's level, and professional locally known guides guarantee an educational introduction to the sport with a focus on safety in the mountains.

The Ski touring equipment is designed to walk up the mountain using skins under the skis and bindings with a walking function. When ready for downhill, you take off the skins and lock the bindings in the alpine mode - that will give you the necessary support for downhill skiing.

At the end of the trip, we will enjoy the time together around our campfire and drink coffee.
